The animation looks really good, definitely one of the best I’ve seen from T-Rex considering it’s more plot driven with has less sex per minute. It’s an achievement in this day of age where budget is solely used on sex scenes and dialogue is gimped. My heart goes out to those that wanted all their shit fetishes piled together into this one, but one has to admire the care put into this one. They don’t use cheap animation tricks that 20 second loops and bad camera motions.

Because TA1 was one of the best hentai’s out there. Everyone was expecting to see something good after we have suffered with shit hentai for months. This is more about total disappointment than being critical.
All right, so it definitely wasn’t as good as TA1, but the first 2 eps are going to be pewp all around. Still, we got almost an hour’s worth of content with the first episode, so I’m not trying to complain too much.
@AkaiKurai – People are always going to be critical, so it’d be best to let em, it’ll be a headache if you try to get that to stop, haha. I agree with you though, one should look towards the good things, but you have to admit in terms of quality it just doesn’t stack up to the original, which was more fast-paced and brutal. There was enough dialogue to set things up, but in this episode it just feels like a fuckton of exposition. Me, personally, I’d write that off as their setup, same way superhero movies always use the first in the series to set up everything before getting to the action. But that’s just me.
I agree but honestly even though this was 40 minutes long, sexual content wise it doesn’t even add up to a 20 min episode from the first series.
What bothers me is that they still try to apply the mind break to these scenes even though what happens here doesn’t really compare to what these girls went through the original series.
So in the end it feels like this studio just used the name to ensure a decent amount of sales and didn’t put the effort to try and produce something that lived up to the hype. The excessive looping is one example.
Its not as bad as some people say but its definitely not a good sequel.

Definitely not better than the first. They should have done more and actually seperated it into two episodes instead of crashing it all into one. Wait for the translations to come out before I say more.

all i can say its “Meh” wasn’t bad, wasn’t great either, total mix bag especially first series was far better, this far slower, more boring.
When I learned that TA 2 was getting made. I knew it would not be as good as TA1. As someone who owns the 4 disc CD set. I am very proud of owning it. But this ZIZ animation of TA2 is not worth buying, let alone owning. Murakami made the TA1 so great with his style of directing and animation. You’ll find none of that here in TA2. ZIZ had disappointed me with their Annarose adaptation. So I knew to watch this TA2 adaptation with a grain of salt. This is not the worst hentai anime I’ve seen. It does hit some (I use the term loosely) highlights of game its self. but it lacks the Sexual intensity of both the game its adapted from and TA1 original animation. The story writers and animators cut to many corners to make this product. On a scale of one to ten, I give this a 5. It’s a shame that Murakami can’t work with Lilith due to legal reason in the near future. The Taimanin Asagi series deserve the best, not this lack lust show of milking a cash cow.

I love the games! I love “Koutetsu No Majo Annerose: Witchslave”, “Hell Knight Ingrid”, Taimanin Asagi and Yukikaze and so on. The first Anime was great, dark Love had the same stil and was great too. Dark Love was my number 2.
I think, like everyone else who know the first I anime I expected more, but the only thing that make me sad is the slow mo. It is really much better than this 5 frames per minute animes like “Creamy Pie” or “Netoraserare”(I expected more from this one too because i like netorare and the story from the manga).
All in all I think this anime is by far better then the most animes in the Last few months, but than it’s not so good because the Taimanin before this one was much better.
I will use this anime a few times, but when I get bored with this one, I go back to the first Taimanin. It is still my number 1.
Compared to Taimanin Asagi 1 the art is horrible. Compared to the animation of TA1 the animation is boring.

Also, the animation was not all that good, pretty choppy and, frankly, the trailer made it seem like the animation was going to be a lot better. It looked pretty. But that’s about it. Of course people are going to hate for simple reasons. This will for ever be in TA1′s shadow, no matter how good or bad this was since the minds that frequent this site aren’t to open and accepting anyway. I know I had my doubts with ZIZ and their previous budget drop for Witchrose, but I still see this as a quality adaptation. It’s just got a little more plot than the last iteration and a little less of what people are looking for. Doesn’t mean it isn’t good. By itself, this is a pretty good title for the month, but of course people find the smallest things to cry about.
More plot? They literally cut out the fact that Edwin Black possessed the girls’ surviving backup to later capture them! As well as how and why Asagi and Sakura are even here in the first place! They then mixed two endings segments together, Asagi getting fucked by that demon horse (meaning her demon side rejected her) and both her and the demon side joining together.
Not to mention the slow animations, stock animations for Saya’s demon form…
It’s just better to get the visual novel overall.
Let’s be honest, the games stories are all pretty stupid and bad…
By the 3rd one there’s so many plot holes and inconsistencies it became ridiculous..

For mi this was good. This is probably all for Taimanin Asagi 2, if this is ending we will see next in sequel Taimanin Asagi 3 later in future, but good we got release date Taimanin Yukikaze episode 2.
I didn’t expect this to be like the first one, i expected this one to be the next kuroinu,oh wellll, i actually like this one animation better scale down the brutal nature of the first one a little cause as good as the first one was and still is, it was a little too much for my taste so when i saw the trailer i was excited then the two episodes came out, holy shit it feel like a vanila, movements are so slow and gentle, the intensity came no where near the first one or even makai ishi ingrid, there are more episodes to come so i just hope they don’t ruin the serie
