Is this anime inspired partially by that 1997 Canadian film “The Cube”?
Nobody understood this anime really. The anime is based from an actual game with the same title Euphoria. There are a bunch of endings for the game(6 routes, 2 endings I remember) and the one showed in the anime is what is called the ‘bad ending’. In the true ending will be revealed when only the main character(What was his name.. the boy) chooses rin-ne(the blonde) and fulfilles her last wish:”kill me”.
The Twist starts here. The ‘game’ they were playing was actually from a virtual reality developed from a secret company. Kanae(The girl that gets banged in this episode) is the dauther of the head scientist from the comapany.

To be short, Kanae is the real bitch and kidnapped the boy and rin-ne. To successfuly create the virtual reality there needs to be a “core” a real human vegetable.
Rin-ne asks Kanae to release the boy but Kanae promised with the condition of making the boy kill RIn-ne in the virtual life that she will create(Its some sort of test for truelty)
